Staging site is not validating

I have added the staging site to my single license, but it is not validating.

It validates for a second, then it reverts back to not validated. You can still see the " Congratulations! Your site is validated. Addons are now unlocked." on the screen.

I tried both Chrome and MS Edge. I tried clearing the cache, but it had no effect.

Thanks for writing to us.

I checked your site dashboard it seems that you are using X theme there and your license key is for the Pro theme. I would suggest you delete the X and Cornerstone plugin and then install the Pro theme to get it validated.

In case you haven’t seen our validation doc please have a look at our documentation to learn more about how to validate the theme

OK, that was it. I did the change, and it seems to work on the staging server.
