Hello support team,

There have been numerous requests over the years to have social media networks added to the socials part of the theme (header / footer) of X and/or Pro.

With decentralization / web3 there are simply many beneficial social media networks (not saying they are any better than the others, that depends on support, staff, etc.) these networks can include VERO, Uhive, Mastodon, Parler, etc. (250+ realistically)

Simply put, just like the header image, can there be a socialmedia icon upload, and then input of the social media profile’s url? Similar number of 8 to 12 networks, fill in the blank. Not complicated, no elaboration needed.

This will allow all users to display a social media network of choice, rather than just the accustomed ones (Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, etc.) with authoritarian dialogue.

Currently, is there a simple custom global CSS code that can remedy this?

Thanks for writing in! If you are using the Pro theme, you can utilize the [Icon](https://theme.co/docs/icon) element and insert this in your custom header or custom footer. You can have as many icons you want and even use custom image icons and custom links with this element. No CSS/PHP coding is needed when using this Icon element. You can use a bunch of icons as a component or (Global Block when using an older version like Pro 5.1.5) and add it in the page content if you are using the X theme.

At the moment, there is no option that you can upload a custom image icon for the social media profile links. This has already been added as a feature request by the way. If you are familiar with coding, then you may check out these old threads:

The code in the old threads above serves as an example code. Feel free to modify it when needed. Please note that custom coding is beyond the scope of our support. You will have to maintain any custom coding to make sure that it will still work after any updates or does not create any issues or incompatibility in the future.
