Slider revolution no longer working

Hi,

Our slider revolution slider is no longer showing up on our home page and I am not sure what to do. It was there earlier today.

Hello @jbbmobile,

Thanks for writing to us.

I checked your site it seems that there is are some JS console errors, it might be due to plugin conflict or custom JS customization just because the slider is not working properly. I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

  1. Testing for Plugin Conflict
  2. CSS/JS Customization
  3. Version Compatibility
  4. Disabling Cache
  5. Child Theme

If none of those work, It would be best if you could copy your live website to your staging area. and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

Ok, I will go through the steps you mentioned. If nothing works I will send an update with a staging site

Hi Jason,

Great and let us know how it goes! In the meantime, if you have any other concerns or clarifications regarding our theme features, feel free to open up a new thread.

Thank you.

Hi,

None of the troubleshooting worked. I am in the process of creating a staging site.

Hi,

got the staging site up. attached below

Thank you for your help

Hello Jason,

I have logged in and edited your homepage. I could not find any section that contains the slider.

Are you expecting to have the slider above or below the masthead? You must have accidentally deactivated it. To get it back to display to the homepage, please check your Above Masthead or Below Masthead slider settings. Kindly check out this documentation:

Best Regards

Hi,

The slider is in section 3 and not the hero. I’ve attached a screenshot below. I am also unsure where to access the setting for slider revolution that you are mentioning.

Hi Jason,

It seems that you have not set the Height of the column where you have added the Slider, I replicated the same in a test page and added theHeight and it worked.

I would suggest you replicate the same for your home page.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hi,

The height is currently set to auto. Why does auto height not work for this element?
I also went to the test page and no content seems to be there.

Hi Jason,

It seems that the Flexbox is the reason behind your issue. This issue has been already and reviewed by our lead developer Alex, please go through his comment on the following thread.

I would suggest you do the same, and not use the flexbox while using the Slider Revolution in the column.

Thanks

Thank you. Much appreciated.

Hope you have a great day!

Hi Jason,

Glad that we are able to help you.

Thanks
