Slider Revolution 6 modules will not Migrate after update to SR7

So Slider Revolution 7 has rendered older SR6 Modules useless.

Moreover, while the older Modules show the “Not migrated” status and the mouseover for each of the older Modules signifies the EventHandler is working, but nothing happens when you click on them.

I’ve put the site in question into debug mode and it’s not a conflicting plugin nor is it a JS issue.

I’ve read the suggestions within the other threads but this issue is actually ThemeCo’s responsibility to make sure the fine folks at the Slider Revolution correct this because ThemeCo is the one who utilizes their product within their own.

We, your customers, trust you to choose plugins that work correctly. When these plugins have been an integral part of a developer’s / web builder’s workflow and they suddenly stop working, the answer of “you’ll have to rebuild them” is irresponsible, and most of all, wrong.

The correct course of action would be for ThemeCo to put pressure on SR to get their plugin functioning correctly.

Hello @ChadAustin,

Thanks for writing to us.

We understand you’re facing an issue with the Slider Revolution plugin, and our development team is working on a solution. We’ve released a new theme update that includes fixes for compatibility issues with the latest version of Slider Revolution 7 and our Classic Slider Revolution element. For best results, we recommend updating to the latest version of our theme, clearing the cache, and then testing again.

If you need a temporary solution, you can try downgrading to an older version of the Slider Revolution plugin.

Thank you for your patience!

Ok- thanks so much!

You are most welcome, @ChadAustin

How do I downgrade to SR6- more specifically: Where can I find the downloadable version for downgrading?

Hey @ChadAustin,

I guessed you already found an older version, which you have shared in the other thread.

Thanks.
