My Slider on www.componenta.se is viewing next image when i enter the page. It’s not supposed to do that. Have I done something weird with the CSS?
Hello Jonathan,
Thanks for writing to us.
I checked your given page URL it seems that the slider is working fine at my end. It might be the issue of browser cache, I would also suggest you please clear your browser cache and then check it again. I have checked it on Google Chrome version 98.0.4758.82. Please let us know which browser you are using and the version of the browser.
Thanks
The problem is constant when I use bigger screen. 32´or 37´ for example. On my 13´screen it’s disappears when I click on the slider. I use Chrome and Safari and have cleared all cache.
Hello Jonathan,
You are using a Classic Slider (which is outdated) and I believed that this could be a conflict between the Classic Slider and the latest version of the theme. I highly recommend that you use the new Slider element instead. With this new Slider element, you will have more control and options. You can use Image element or any other elements in your slides too. Please check out this documentation:
Hope this helps.
Hi. I use the new slider on 2 new web pages I working on right now. Really good and easy to use. Thanks for that. But when you say that the Classic Slider is “outdated” I’m getting a bit worried. One webpage I bould is totaly depended on the Classic Slider.
www.byggnadskonst.eu
Not my favorite page but the customer wanted it to look exactly like it dos. If the Classic Slider stop working on that web page. It would be catastrophic.
Hey Jonathan,
Yes, it is outdated in terms of the features and functionality. It will still work though. Sooner or later, a difference in the rendered output depending on the browser will occur. A slight gap or some spaces might appear. Still, rest assured it will not stop working.
Best Regards.
