Slider element browser support

Hi,

I have lately used the new slider element a lot on different websites, really love it!

A friend of mine couldn’t load the sliders on his mac. He’s running safari 12.1.12. Do you have a list of unsupported browsers for the slider, and a way to address them so that I could build a workaround? We also tested the “https://theme.co/modern-sliders/” page on his system with the same result, so I don’t think the problem is specific to my particular website.

Hey Andreas,

We support the browser supported by WordPress. You can see the list here: https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/best-practices/browser-support/. Since Safari 12 is old, it’s no longer supported.

If your user base is still using old Safari versions, regretfully, you need to look for a 3rd party that supports it.
