Site Issues from Latest Update

We are experiencing some site issues since the major update to Cornerstone. The biggest hurdle is we have lost drag and drop functionality. Our site consists of mostly (if not all) Classic (v1) elements. I realize that is less than ideal especially with the newer versions, but we also now cannot add any new (v2) elements from the editor either.

Version of Cornerstone: 7.0.5

We have attempted the following to troubleshoot:
•Using the editor in a different browser (we primarily use Safari)
•Clearing System Cache
• Referencing this forum thread that includes the same issue we are having, but found no solution that worked for our case. (NOTE: The user video posted in this thread is exactly what we are experiencing)
• Selecting “All Classic Elements” in the Cornerstone settings, per the advice of the staff member in the above thread. But even with it selected, it has not resolved the issue:

None of the above seems to be working, could you guys take a look? So appreciate your help!

Hi @tmhogan,

Thanks for reaching out.
This is a known issue in the latest version of the theme and our development team is aware of it. Although this issue has been already added to our issue tracker, I will add your comment so our team will get notified of the multiple reports on this.

Thanks

Ok good to know, thanks. I know you can’t give out timelines, but being as we update our site monthly and rely on this functionality, there’s probably no way to know general timing or what future update it’s expected to be resolved in?

Hi @tmhogan,

Our development team is looking into all these issues, and hopefully will be fixed in a few upcoming releases.

Thanks

Thank you for your reply. I understand it’s hard to say from Themeco’s perspective, but this is something that was caused solely by this update, and it’s a completely debilitating setback for us. We cannot update the website, let alone alter it, which has now put us behind. Is there any way this can be escalated to someone who can help us? Is there anything at all that can be done? We would sincerely appreciate any and all help.

Hey @tmhogan,

Our developers have already looked into the issue. A patch release update should be rolling out anytime soon. Do not forget to check the changelog.

Please bear with us.
