Show Woocommerce products based on category

Hello.

Im building a shop with cornerstone. On the shop page, the user must able to sort products based on the category.

If we select a category in the inline menu, the pages shows the following;

You see, the category name changes, but all the products stay the same.
I’ve builded a custom layout for this page. The products are displayed from a looper. I know that I’ve selected the taxonomie to be all, that is why the page shows all products, but I want it to show the selected category in the inline menu.

The question is, how can I make the looper in a way that if no category is selected, all the products are shown, But when you select for example ‘hoodies’ all the hoodies will be shown.
If needed, admin login details can be provided.

Thanks in advance,

Kenneth.

Hey Kenneth,

Thanks for reaching out!

Yes, we need to check your backend settings to troubleshoot with your issue properly. To do that, please provide the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Hope that helps.

Login details provided, waiting for you response. Thank you Marc.

Hi Kenneth,

I have checked the layout assigned, and found that the Looper Provider enabled. For the Archive layouts, we don’t need to use the Looper Provider, as the layout use the default WordPress loop for teh specific archive or category . I would suggest you disabled it and check if that works for you ot not.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hi Tristup,

Thank you for checking.
Your suggested option was indeed the solution. We’ve got it working now as it should.

Thank you very much.

Hey Kenneth,

You’re most welcome!
