Show Parent Category on Single Layout

Hi there, this might be similar to this post here: Show parent category in dynamic content

We made a single layout that shows the current posts category at the top of the page using {{dc:term:name}}. What is strange is we’re using WPML to make a bilingual website site and it displays perfectly fine in the English (primary language - shows primary and parent category), yet then in the secondary language, instead of showing the primary (and parent) category the same as the English, it shows a sub category that is also not the primary category.

Is there not a way to have this show the parent or at least primary category?

I’ve checked the two pages but I don’t see the category. That being said, please point out where the category is located, it would also be best to share your admin credentials so that we can check on your issue properly. To do that, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

• WordPress Login URL
• Admin level username and password
