Setting up Gravity Forms

We recently bought the Cornerstone Forms and we were excited to test this out. So i installed and activated it through the Pro Page.

Hoping i would be able to add the form and try the filtered archive i opened cornerstone but i noticed the notification saying i had to activate Cornerstone 7.8 first. Odd because i am using the Pro theme with Cornerstone but ok if i need to install the cornerstone plugin seperatly i will do that.

So i tried installing it and activating, but when i activate it it says its activated, but the plugin doesnt show as activated.

I also see the new features when i hover over Cornerstone but when i try to access one of them i get an error, when i go back the new menu disappeared again.

In my log i see an error saying:

[Thu Mar 05 14:28:47.684526 2026] [proxy_fcgi:error] [pid 2791503:tid 2807577] [remote 77.74.125.127:0] AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: PHP Warning: Undefined array key “_type” in /home/kevin/domains/kevin.webprofit.site/public_html/wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/includes/classes/Elements/ElementData.php on line 146PHP message: PHP Warning: Undefined array key “_type” in /home/kevin/domains/kevin.webprofit.site/public_html/wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/includes/classes/Elements/ElementData.php on line 146PHP message: PHP Warning: Undefined array key “_type” in /home/kevin/domains/kevin.webprofit.site/public_html/wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/includes/classes/Elements/ElementData.php on line 146PHP message: PHP Warning: Can not decorate element without _type: 4440 in /home/kevin/domains/kevin.webprofit.site/public_html/wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/includes/classes/Elements/Decorator.php on line 48PHP message: PHP Warning: Can not decorate element without _type: 4440 in /home/kevin/domains/kevin.webprofit.site/public_html/wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/includes/classes/Elements/Decorator.php on line 48PHP message: PHP Warning: Can not decorate element without _type: 4440 in /home/kevin/domains/kevin.webprofit.site/public_html/wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/includes/classes/Elements/Decorator.php on line 48’

Could you help us out with setting this up so we can use it?

Hello @djkranendonk,

Thanks for posting in!

It seems that you are using the Pro 6.7.11. You may need to update to Pro 6.8. You do not need the Standalone Cornerstone plugin. We would be happy to double check your site if we can log in. You can create a secure note in your next reply with the following info:

Best Regards.

Hello @djkranendonk,

It looks like you are using the older version of the Pro theme. I would suggest you please update the Pro theme to the latest version 6.8.1. I would suggest you please go to the Cornerstone ->Settings->Clear Cache. Please clear your browser cache and recheck it.

Thanks

That seemed to do the trick, thanks for the help.
I also watched the new video to set up the filters
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKhSjhde-zg
but i’m struggeling with setting this up with a custom field made in acf pro, is there already documentation on this?

Hey @djkranendonk,

That’s currently not possible. Unlike Terms, there’s no way to list ACF Fields.

Please consider turning your ACF field to a Custom Taxonomy or Term.
