I’m trying to create a section as a component but it doesn’t shows up on the Components list. What am I missing?
Oh, now I see it when I do CMD + Click on the add section button. That is nowhere on the documentation, just buried on a bunch of support threads!
Apologies for the inconvenience, but glad you’ve found the solution. We’ve updated the component builder docs about top level components like sections.
You need to add columns to that documentation, as I was searching for hours for this solution. This is a good update, but you are missing the mark on column/row/section components, as this is more useful than a button element component. Please update the UI to include these in a more prominent place rather than CMD clicking the tiny plus sign to add a column component.

Also, I created a DIV Component and named it I’m New. I couldn’t find it in the list of components until I removed the apostrophe from its name. Either ban special characters from the name field or parse only the name in your code.

In addition to this post… When you add column components to your row, you cannot drag them around to rearrange them. You must delete the column components and add them in the order they should go. This should be fixed. I have not tested this with sections or rows.

I was able to export a component with special characters. Can you try again and let me know if it persists?
