Search results problem

Can somebody help me please, if I try to use the search bar on my site I get pages of the same results. I typed in trailer and got 27 pages with the same article repeated 8 times on each page: https://www.horsefactbook.com/?s=trailer

I understand that the word may appear multiple times in the same article but surely it should only display that article once?

Thanks, do you know when it’ll be fixed?

Also I don’t have a child theme, is it possible to fix on the main theme?

Hey Lucy,

We currently do not have an ETA when the next release will be done but it should be as soon as the beta testing is finished.

Unfortunately, the only want to add the temporary fix is through a child theme. So please install and activate the child theme and login through FTP then go to wp-content/themes/x-child and edit the functions.php and add the code suggested.
