Hi
I use Pro and Cornerstone.
I want to build a looper slider to show several blog entries.
Above I want to show a list of some blog categories, and when you click on such a category, the slider slides to the first entry of this category.
How is this possible with cornerstone?
Thank you very much,
Hannes
Hello Hannes,
Thanks for writing in!
You can use the Custom Attributes data-x-slide-goto.
Best Regards.
Thank you - this is a really mighty feature!
Pro is really amazing!
Using data-x-slide-goto=β3β lets me navigate to the 3rd slide.
But my initial question was to be able to navigate to the next slide of a specific category.
So instead of using the item number can I use named values, too?
Fo instance:
data-x-slide-goto=βcat2β
Thank you very much,
Hannes
Hi Hannes,
You need to use the slide number for the data-x-slide-goto attribute. It will take only numeric index of any slide in your list that you provide.
Thanks
OK thank you.
I have another question about sliders:
Is there a way to have thumbnail images in the slide pagination?
At the moment it looks like it is only possible to have simple bullets.
A CSS hack would be fine.
Thank you,
Hannes
Hi Hannes,
Unfortunately, that is not possible right this moment. I will surely check with our development team and if possible will add this as a feature request so it can be considered in the future.
Thanks
This would be amazing and would do a marvelous boost to the marvelous page builder!
Thank you very much and best regards,
Hannes
