Saved changes in Cornerstone no longer appearing on live pages

Since updating our copy of Pro to version 5.1.5 changes to content on existing pages will no longer display on live pages. In the Cornerstone builder the changes appear to save correctly, the “Awesome! Saved!” conformation box appears to indicate success. If you leave the page (indeed, if you log out of WordPress entirely and log back in) the changes are correctly saved in the page when you load it back into the editor. However, NONE of the changes appear on the live page as rendered by WordPress.

The site is at: https://trafalgarvillagedental.com
Wordpress and all plugins are up to date
Pro license is valid and installed
We have neither added nor removed plugins since the page builder last worked properly
PHP version is 7.4
Memory limit is 256M
There is no caching plugin in use

Hello @vitamindecius,

Thanks for writing to us

It generally happens due to cache, I would suggest you please purge all the cache and clear your browser cache then check it again. If it doesn’t work for you I would suggest you troubleshoot a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

  1. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  2. Theme Update
  3. Child Theme
  4. Css/Js Customization
  5. Disabling Cache
  6. Disabling Cdn

If none of those work, It would be best if you could copy your live website to your staging area. and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

None of these items were applicable or , if applicable, had any effect. There was no caching system in use at the time. No plugins were added or changed, and disabling all plugs did not change the situation. Also, no extra JS or CSS was added or changed. The ONLY thing that changed was updating the PRO them to version 5.1.5.

HOWEVER - backing up the site, doing a complete removal and reinstall of the Wordpress installation and then restoring the backup corrected the situation. The pages are updating now and the displayed page now matches the page shown in the editor.

Hey Natalia,

We’re glad that it is now working properly on your end! If you have any other concerns or clarifications regarding our theme features, feel free to open up a new thread.

Thank you.
