Save section as a template

Hi,

I’ve been searching Google for the answer to this question in the theme.co forums. In Divi, I can save a section and then call up that section in another page. I have one section I want to be global, so that they are all uniform. I see that this feature hadn’t been developed as of posts originating in 2014. Please advise on how to do this. And, no, I am not going to save a page and then delete the other elements and save that as a template. I want to be able to save a specific section and reuse it sitewide.
