hi there,
font manager activated.
i can’t find a way to save the font style in the fontmanager including “size, spacing and height”.
also not in the global settings for the website.
only font and weight are being saved for a text element.
i guessi overlooked how that works?
thanks a lot and have a great weekend! kai
Hello @iTurtle,
Thanks for writing in!
When you add a Text element to your page, you will have these Text Format settings:
This means that the Font Style, Font Weight, and Height will be inherited from the Body and Content setting from the Theme Options. The rest like the size, spacing, etc will have it’s Text element default settings.
Best Regards.
dear @ruenel,
thanks for your reply.
i was asking, if there really is not way to define a font (font, weight, size, spacing, height, style) as a preset.
this way i could quickly use the same font with all its settings in a new text element.
that would be really cool!
best wishes, kai
Hello @iTurtle,
If you create a Text and Headline component element, you can easily change the font settings in one go. The only drawback is that you will need to edit all your pages and layouts to replace the existing Text and Headline elements with the newly created Text and Headline Component element.
If this is the first you heard of the Component feature, please check this out:
Best Regards.
thanks for the tipp @ruenel!
i worked with components before.
but does that mean i can have different text in every text-component on many pages and only the style is being changed when i change the components style/settings?
thanks again! kai
Hello @iTurtle,
If you create a Component element with a parameter set up with it. You can always have different Text contents. And if you change the styling, you can do it once and all those pages using the Component element will be updated.
Best Regards.
