Can I save a column as a template. There are hundreds of columns on the page but I just want to save one column. The only way I know how to do it is to delete everything on the page except the column I want then save it but there must be an easier way?

If you only want to export only columns and their settings in your template then you need to delete the other element. If you have not checked our template documentation please have a look at it.
