Revolution Slider not editable after transfering to new host

Hello,

I installed a Revolution Slider to my site and about a week later transferred the whole site to a new host (Bluehost, if that matters). I’m a coding beginner so pardon my ignorance.

When I originally installed my slider, I just embedded it in Cornerstone. Now, when I look at my homepage (travelgoalsclub.com) in Cornerstone (or in the WordPress editor), I cannot find the layerslider…it’s there, though. It’s live on the site…I just can’t figure out where it is to change it in the backend.

It’s driving me crazy and this feels like such a dumb question but it’s M.I.A.!

Hey Anastasia,

I’m sorry but I’m not sure exactly what is going on. Since you embedded your slider in Cornerstone then is Cornerstone empty like in the following screenshot?

If so, your migration method is most probably incomplete. What I’d recommend you do first is to try following the Search & Replace suggestion in our Migration article here: https://theme.co/docs/how-to-migrate-your-site

If that doesn’t work, please follow the whole migration article.

If that is not the case, please provide exact details and screenshots also.

Thanks.

Thanks Christian, yes, Cornerstone was blank. Sorry if I didn’t explain that clearly.

I had a lot of problems when initially migrating my site and have since made some changes, so I don’t want to migrate again and risk overriding the changes I made.

Do I have another option?

I also looked at the search and replace plugin…I may be misunderstanding but I don’t believe that has anything to do with my problem? All URLs are pointing in the correct place. I also did NOT migrate to a new domain, all I did was transfer from Wordpress.com to a self-hosted BlueHost/WordPress.org site. I hope that makes sense.

Hello Anastasia,

Thanks for updating in! The Layerslider that is displaying on the homepage (http://travelgoalsclub.com/) were added in the Slider Settings: Below Masthead settings. To learn more about how the sliders were integrated in the masthead, please check this out:
