Revolution Slider just blank when previewed and embedded

Hi there,
I designed a comprehensive slider which suddenly seems empty/blank in preview mode as well as when it is embedded on a cornerstone page. I already followed the advice given on https://www.sliderrevolution.com/faq/how-to-troubleshoot/ and disabled all WP plugins … to no avail.
Another slider shows up just fine.

The console prints out “TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating ‘t.bg’)” in a couple of minified rs6 javascript files.

Can you please help to resolve the issue?

Hello @Paritor,

Thanks for writing to us.

It might be an issue of plugin conflict I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

  1. Testing For Theme Related Issue
  2. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  3. Theme Update
  4. Child Theme
  5. Css/Js Customization
  6. Increasing Php Memory Limit
  7. Disabling Cache
  8. Disabling Cdn
  9. Permalinks
  10. Version Compatibility

If none of those work, It would be best if you could copying your live website to your staging area. and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

Thanks, @prakash_s,

I have gone through all of your 10 topics but the problem still persists. My slider will just not show up.
All plugins are also up to date. There is no caching plugin installed, clearing the browser cache does not help either.

As I said, I believe that there is a problem with the minified JS files of Revolution Slider.

I have gone through the usual RS settings, cleared the cache there, moved JavaScript to footer/body and enabled the no-conflict mode …

As the website is not yet ‘live‘, we may temporarily alter contents and play with settings.

Hey @Paritor,

Can you reinstall the Revolution Slider? You may need to export and download your current sliders as a backup before reinstalling the plugin just to be safe.

Kindly let us know how it goes.
