Rev-slider not working in microsoft edge

Hi there,

I have a slider on my website (link in secure note) but the slider isn’t displaying on microsoft edge anymore. It is just a white section. It works fine in all other browsers I have tried.

Is there a solution for this?

Thanks in advance!

Hey Vink,

Try enabling Put JS to Body option under the Advanced settings.

We also like to know if this issue is only with Slider Revolution only and it’s not caused by 3rd party factors so would you also mind doing all the basic troubleshooting mentioned in our Common Issues article here: https://theme.co/docs/common-issues?

Please confirm that you have done troubleshooting and only if none helps, give us the following info in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks.

Hi!

Thanks for the reply. I tried what you suggested in the reply above but alas, nothing seems to have helped.
In a secure note I will provide you with login credentials.

I hope you can find something that can help us!

Thanks so much in advance!

Hey Vink,

Something in the header is causing the issue. I spent a long time finding what is exactly causing the issue but I currently couldn’t locate where the issue is coming from though.

I just suggest that you either insert the slider in the page/content or the Slider Below Masthead Page Setting as the slider works when added in those areas.

I hope you consider those options.

Thanks.

Hi!

Thanks so much for all your effort! I’ve used the ‘above masthead’ trick you suggested and indeed it works perfectly! Thanks!

Glad to hear that, Vink!
