Rev Slider Not Full screen on Mobile/ Pro-Integrity

I have a fullscreen slider on my homepage. It fully covers the screen on desktop but is scrollable on mobile. How can I prevent this so it’s also fullscreen on mobile and not showing the while scrollable areas? I am using this code in the slider settings on. desktop to have it cover the screen properly. How can I adjust it for mobile devices?

Under the slider layout settings I am using this

Decrease Module Height

by Container
.fixedBar, #wpadminbar

by PX or %
0px

ignore Mobile Height Changes
is in the on position

Here is a snapshot of how it looks on mobile devices. For example I have an IPhone. The transparent down arrow area is supposed to meet the vip footer bar without scrollable spacing, that shows as white on mobile, the same as it does on desktop.

Hello @fantasy_5,

Use only #wpadminbar. This will only apply if you are logged in.

I see that you have changed the homepage already.

Thanks.

Hi, @ruenel

That was a temporary change to the home page because I was testing something else. It is now back to what was being used originally.

When I only use only#wpadminbar the down arrow in the slider is covered and it needs to be displayed because it is a part of the sliders functionality.

However, when I use .fixedBar, #wpadminbar the down arrow is displayed as it should be, but the scrolling that shows the white space at the bottom of the slider appears. How can I adjust the code that already there so the white space does not show, but the down arrow is still visible on mobile and desktop whether I’m logged in or not?

In other words there should be no option for scrolling or for white space between the footer bar (.fixedBar) (become a vip) and the transparent down arrow that is a part of the slider. The only option should be to use the slider to scroll, and/ or add to cart, or enter the website.

Also, the idea is so users can see the full screen slider and enter the site or follow a link to get to the shop, etc. I need the homepage to remain this way whether me or users are logged in. Only using #wpadminbar doesn’t achieve that. I added screenshots to show the difference.

Hi, @ruenel

I added this video of the homepage to give you a closer look into what’s happening at present. https://www.shopatkei.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/video-full-screen-slider.webm

Hi, @ruenel

Are you available to assist?

Hello @fantasy_5,

Yes, I have checked the homepage. I got this on my mobile:

When I scroll the page, I have this:

The address bar and the browser navigation disappears while displaying the whitespace area. I am not sure how other browsers renders this. I believe that the whitesspace displays because the slider did not re initiate covering the new browser height with the absence of the address bar and the navigation.

Be advised that the page of any site or even WordPress has no control over how it is being rendered by the mobile browser. We may need to investigate further by comparing a page with a slider and without a slider sharing the same fullscreen height how it behaves.

Hope this makes sense.

Hi, @ruenel

Yes, that makes sine. However, the white space below and above the slider is visible on desktop too. You can see it in the video link I provided above. It’s sort of a bounce affect. I’m using a mac and iphone. I wonder if there’s a top and bottom padding issue with the fullscreen slider option. Is there a way to determine that and possible set it to zero for the homepage? For the age template itself I am using blank container, header, no footer. I’ve tried other page settings, but they don’t work in terms of displaying the fullscreen slider.

Hello @fantasy_5,

This is how it looks on my desktop:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUiGW4BHXIk

The Slider it self does not react to the scroll up/down movement to trigger to the next slide. That feature may not be available.

It is quite normal that you can scroll up/down when you are at the top/bottom of the page where a white space displays BUT bounces back to the top/bottom of the page just like what I showed in the video.

Hope this helps.

Hi, @ruenel

The down arrow is what I am referring to, in terms of slider movement. If you click the down arrow that is a part of the slider it will rotate to the next slide without waiting for the timed rotation. Is there a way to prevent the up and down scrolling that shows the white space on desktop and mobile making the slider completely full screen until the website is entered? Here is the video https://www.shopatkei.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/arrows_and_dots_scrolling.webm The slight bounce for up and down scrolling which shows slightly white on desktop is not bad, but it looks really bad on mobile devices. It’s a bit extreme as showed in the screenshots above.

Hello @fantasy_5,

It may not be possible because the page scroll will not wait for the slider to completely. What you can only do is to add a preloader to your slider so that with load all the slider resources first before initializing.

And then kindly disable the Parallax on mobile.

Hope this helps.

Hi, @ruenel

I added the first slide as a centered, module background image. I also turned off the parallax option as suggested. What I’m trying to accomplish has more to do with the overall sizing of the slider and how it fits fullscreen on mobile devices as opposed to the slider features themselves. So is it not at all possible to make a slider fullscreen without showing white space above and below the slider whether on mobile or desktop?

I guess I’m trying to find a way to have it remain fullscreen across all devices and also no mater which browser is used. For example, I’m using Chrome. It’s not adopting fully to the browser size. It is full width, but there’s white space above and below when it comes to the height of the slider.

Hello @fantasy_5,

We already studied every available option and resources to get this white space resolved on mobile. This may be a limitation to this plugin feature. May I suggest that you check out the native Slider element in Cornerstone to be used as your Hero slider? It may give you other option in accomplishing what you have in mind. You can check out this documentation about this Slider element:

Hope this helps.
