Responsive headlines don't react (have already tried to remove all css and look for old post)

Hi support.
I’ve tried to make my headline responsive on this page:
https://fitnessformularen.dk/din-personlige-lommetraener/
Normally i have no problems with responsive headlines, but this time it won’t react no matter what i do.
I’m talking about the headline: " Den ultimative vægttabsmakker der hjælper
dig med at tabe 0,5-1 kg fedt om ugen …".
I’ve called it .h-responsive2 and used h-responsive2 as a class on the headline.
Can you help me troubleshoot this?
Been trying for hours now, but can’t seem to fix it by myself :frowning:
Best regards,
Christian

Yeah I have the same problem, support tells me my headlines are working fine but they are not! I have been using xtheme for 3 years and responsive text has always been a hit and miss affair.

Hello @coedam,

Thanks for writing in! I have checked your site and I found out that you are using the Headline element. Your class selector is incomplete. Please have it updated from just .h-responsive2, kindly use .h-responsive2 h1 or .h-responsive2 .x-text-content-text-primary.

@waynepatt58:
Kindly check your element structure as well. You may need to correct your class selector for the responsive text.

As an alternative, you can always make use of the Responsive Typography which you can set in the Theme Options. Kindly check out our documentation here:

Hope this helps.

thanks, will try that

You are most welcome!

So I tried it in the following headlines. The Re

search. and the headline below it; Minnesota Concealed Carry Permit
The research headline works but the one below it does not? And I cannot find any differences in the headlines, all setup exactly the same as far as I can see.

Hello @waynepatt58,

I have checked your page and I can see that the responsive text is working as expected. Check the screenshot below:

Please try to increase the maximum font size if you want to display a bigger font. One thing to remember is that the responsive text will calculate the font size according to the available space occupied by the element.

Hope this helps.

Hi again.
The tweek with h1 worked, but now i have a new problem.
The text is jumping and scaling all around when i load the page.
I’ve recorded a video here: https://vimeo.com/user50409687/download/435510020/5cae5248e2
Is there a way to fix this or is it just like it is? :sa:

Hey @coedam,

The Responsive Text feature is an old feature that uses Javascript and the said script must finish loading first before the font size to be calculated. The time you see the text being big is the time the script is not finished loading.

We no longer recommend the use of Responsive Text for new sites. Instead, we recommend the use of the modern method of scaling text which uses CSS. Please watch the video below to learn how to set up a modern responsive text.

Hope that helps.
