Response to graphQL

Hi @charlie!

Some competing builders started to push GraphQL as something that apparently creates a competitive edge for them. Themeco Pro is all about JSON since a long time and I’m sure its architecture is amazing, and also that it doesn’t fall behind others.

Still, what would be your response to it? This thread will be ranked on Google with the Themeco Pro GraphQL keyphrase, so this is a good organic way to respond to this.

GraphQL is actually one of the “Request Editor” types we’ll be doing off the gate for the API feature. Most GraphQL APIs usually return JSON so in a lot of ways we are already ready for it. When we go into Beta this is definitely one of the places we’ll be looking for feeback though and looking forward to what gets built with it!
