Request: Additional animated toggle icons for elements

The animated icons like the Hamburger, Grids, and Ellipsis are pretty slick. However, for dropdown elements, it would be nice to be able to use some sort of chevron as the starting point too.

For example, a downward facing V that transforms into an X on click – just like the hamburger transforms.

I’d personally love to be able to use this particular one on accordions too.

I used to have a site saved with examples of different animations like this, but can’t find it at the moment. But I’m sure there are other simple little animations that would be nice to include as well.

+1 for this.

What would also be really nice is the ability to add micro animations between the various assets of an element. (maybe I missed it).

By explanation - say you have a button with a graphic, it would be awesome to be able to animate the graphic to move away from the button text on hover etc.

I’ve done it with my own CSS but would be cool for it to work natively.

+1 from me as well.

Just started playing with the new beta, and it immediately made me think of this again. It’d be awesome to have a few more animated icons to go with the fancy new dropdowns, modals, etc.

Here are 3 neat examples of the type of thing I’m talking about. (Each accordion uses a different animation)

Would definitely be nice to add a few more toggle types. We’ve had Burger, Grid, and More Horizontal/Vertical pretty much since Pro came out. I’ll add this to our feature backlog to look into at some point.
