Reordering in the layout tab

Just some feedback on dragging within the layout tab.

When dragging a row to a new location in the layout, if the row and column above it are expanded, it nests the row under that column rather than inserting it as the next row.

For example, in this screenshot I want to move the “Move me” row above the “Drag row here” row.

As I drag it up there, since the column above the destination is expanded, it won’t let me add it as a row below that column. Instead, it always nests within that column.

If I first collapse the column or row, it works fine. But of course that requires extra work.

I’m used to other apps that let you pick your destination level by moving the mouse left or right to control levels.

I don’t think I ever dragged and dropped in the old Skeleton mode, so I don’t know if it’s always behaved like this.

Good feedback here. I get what you’re saying about moving the mouse over. There could be a threshold at which point it bumps the line over to indicate the new child position.
