RC2: The content element shows the home page in the builder

In earlier betas it showed filler text now it’s displaying the entire content of the home page inside the content element.

As a work around, I temporarily disabled the site’s homepage in the Settings->Reading section. Now it shows the content of one of my posts.

Can this be the default behavior?

Ideally it would would nice to have it display a specific post in order to design layouts for specific types of content.

HI @Sheri17,

Right next to the Save button is a toggle to open the Preview Manager. You should be able to use that to preview your Header, Footer, or Layout on any URL you like. When you save, it will remember the last URL you were using for that entity when you come back.
