RC2: Border Radius

On this page: https://brandexpublishing.co.uk/billhodgson/

My image is square, the inner and outer border radius is set to 5 rem (or anything as long as they are the same and make a circle),

The white border isn’t aligned with the image - can’t find anything that would influence this. Bill.

Hi Bill,

Can you try removing the max width set on the image? That should help it keep aligned properly.

ok - I made the change but the border still doesn’t hug the image.

Try removing the border and adding a box shadow with 0 for X, Y, and Blur, then set Spread to 3px and set the color.

It will work also work with border if you go back to using a perfect circle. It’s a weird CSS quirk regarding how border-radius and border are related. We kept them split out so you could control the image separately which is useful for things like an icon that has a frame.

Solved - thanks,

Ok great! You’re welcome.
