Hi!
I noticed that the WooCommerce Product Gallery is not rendering the image inside a WC single layout, with a preview properly set for the product.
The product does have a single image, but the Gallery element should still display it.

Hey I hope you have been well. Just to double check I’m seeing the same issue. The frontend worked fine, but the preview was not displaying anything where the gallery should be?
I don’t remember this being broken, but I think it might be a WC 7.8 issue. From what I can tell this issue exists in 6.2 as well. The preview part should be fixed in the next release if it’s the same issue I was experiencing. Have a great day!

Hi @charlie, yes, that’s it: the preview is not working. I’m seeing it in 6.3.0 as well.
When I hover over the element, it gets highlighted like this:
Like the height is missing. This product has only one image set as well.

I would try 6.3.2 I might have gotten the change log wrong for that entry. Upgrading fixed my preview. Does that container need a height? If that worked I’m assuming it didn’t need a height before? If it’s a child theme I’d also double check that’s not the RC.

I just tried 6.3.2. Still the same.
I placed the Product Gallery element into a column. I just checked on a live website with Pro 6.2.9. It doesn’t render there either. I actually don’t know at which point this stopped, but definitely smells like Woo update, as you mentioned. Same is when there is no Child theme.

PS. While on the topic of rendering, FacetWP filters and many other third-party stuff is not rendering in CS. Will this be a normal thing, or is it possible to get it displaying in Pro?

I might have to check on your site to get a better idea of this one. Did setting a column height help at all?
How are you loading in the Facet? Raw content shortcode? If you wanted the facet to actually change your archive layout, yeah I feel like it might need to be more of an integration. I see this plugin brought up, I haven’t played around with it yet, but getting more plugins to work or make it easier for them to work is never a bad idea. The “Render Blocks” button was introduced to address some issues that sound similar to this, but I would have to see a site at the same time.

+1 for getting a deep Facet WP integration working, the deeper the better…
one of the few plugins I use extensively outside of the usual basics for SEO, backups, security and contact forms.

Perhaps FacetWP could become a bundled plugin, just like ACF Pro?

If it’s the using FacetWP issue. That’s probably going to be an issue unless they or us makes a change.
If you are talking about the Product Gallery one. I haven’t had this issue since I created a fix for it. If you having this issue could you create another topic for me to look at a site with this issue?
