Question about The Grid extension removed from X theme

I don’t understand why The Grid extension was removed.
I read in the documentation that it is no longer active but it is still for sale on Codecanyon and is supported by the author.
For confirmation, I also asked the author of the plugin but I’m waiting for his response.
Question for Themeco: where did you get the confirmation that the plugin is no longer active?

However in my opinion it should not have been removed.
Realizing what is possible to do with The Grid with the native Post Element as suggested in my opinion is not yet possible or too complicated.
I also bought the X theme precisely because it offered this extension included. If it is not reinserted I think I will have to migrate to other solutions.

Thanks for writing in! In our documentation, we added:
Note: This Extension is no longer active. Themeco updates and support of this plugin will end on September 30, 2021. You may continue to use the plugin after this date at your own discretion. We recommend all Themeco customers switch to the native Posts Elements available in all Cornerstone builders. More advanced layouts can be achieved using the Grid Element available in Pro.

The plugin is still available in CodeCanyon. Their last update was in January 2021. You can still use it with the X theme or with the Pro Theme. Regretfully, we, at Themeco, have discontinued the Grid plugin as a bundled plugin.

Hi @ruenel , thanks for the reply.

I just disagree with the choice to remove The Grid from Theme X. I bought the theme precisely because it also included The Grid.

Using the native “Post Elements”, as suggested, is too complicated for me. For example, how do I add the search, order and filter boxes that The Grid plugin provided?

I will continue to use The Grid until I find bugs or it breaks, after which I will most likely have to buy it.

I would also like to suggest implementing a native element similar to The Grid, which without many complications allows you to list posts, with filters, sorting and searching.
