QR code feature request

Hey Charlie, hope all is good there!

I’m playing around with the latest version and the new QR code element. I was wondering if it would be possible to add some more styling possibilities but most importantly, it would be nice if the generated QR code could be saved as an image and exported. I’m making some packaging for a product where also a Qr code needs to be put on, thought it would be nice to have the same code everywhere. Ofcourse I can just generate a QR code online and use it but since you have the element already I thought it would be nice to have that functionality added.

I agree it would be nice to be able to export it though

That is indeed what I ended up doing. Of course everything is possible with a bit of extra work just thought having some extra functionality out of the box would be cool :slight_smile:

This library we are using doesn’t really support that level of styling. I’m not sure they are using JS in that QRCode Monkey. It looks really cool though, if you want to use it with the External API. It would be nice to have a prefab or way to include an Icon inside the QR. I’ll have to think on how to get an export feature inside of CS. Thanks for the feedback. Have a great day.
