Just purchased $99 support but no option for getting help is presented on my dashboard. Anyway, I am trying to update to latest wordpress and Pro version, but the fonts will not update when I try to do so–just get strange non-theme fonts. I don’t know how to fix manually so need help.
You are in the right spot. That userpass combo sent to us didn’t work for HTTP auth. I’d try to clear the cache and see if WPMUDev has any sort of caching too.
Just a heads up that you’ve shared your login… I’d recommend deleting that… once you’ve posted a message you can then press the ‘secure note’ button to add login credentials that are only visible to you and support staff.
Hi John,
Unfortunately, the Login URL is not accessible due to the HTTP authentication. I would suggest you provide the credentials for the HTTP authentication to access the Login URL.
Thanks
The most recent login creds were for my provider, which gets you into wordpress at which point you can use the first set of creds. To be honest I’m confused as to what you are seeing when you try to log in…
If you provide an email address, I can set up another user with admin privileges.
Hey @jackdanielvo,
We cannot get passed this authentication screen:
- See the screenshot in the secure note below
Thanks.
The wpmudev ID and password are the combo in the secure note. I just used them after signing out and they work perfectly. From there, you can select the Wordpress icon and get direct admin access without signing in to Wordpress.
Hey @jackdanielvo,
We are still getting the same result. The credentials are incorrect.
- See the secure note below.
Thanks.
My apology, it looks like the password is different. Please see secure note.
Hello @jackdanielvo,
I am seeing this:
You are using inherit and in your Typography settings, you have this:
The problem is that in your Headline elements, you are using this: <p>Booking.</p>. The paragraph tag is not necessary because the headline elements have already the heading tag.
When using the Headline element, the paragraph <p> tag is not needed. You only use that when using the Text element.
Best Regards.
Ah, very interesting. However, tis does not address all the other issues. They are, that in the staging version of the site, where I have updated to WP 6.2, and the latest of Pro, I have many font issues. The devs at my host told me that this is an issue with the latest update of Pro, which does not take the fonts from the previous version. Can you please help with this? I can’t update the site and lose all the fonts…
Hello @jackdanielvo,
How can we access your staging site? We cannot get passed the authentication screen.
Thank you.
No need. The primary site auto-updated the theme, so the font problem is evident there. Please look at the primary site and see how to fix the fonts on it, since the update deleted all the font settings.
Hey @jackdanielvo,
These are your custom fonts:
You will have to assign a global default font for the Headings and your Body and Content. At the moment, it is set to “Inherit”.
Best Regards.
I tried changing the fonts to “Headings” and “Body copy” but there was no change. I don’t know what font to change to, as it was your update that messed up the fonts, and I have no idea what your theme had them set to. I need your help restoring the fonts to what they are supposed to be. What fonts do I choose??
Hello @jackdanielvo,
I am not sure which font you were using too. I think you should choose Font 6, Josefin Slab, and Lato because the Headings and Body Copy are the default theme settings which is Helvetica.
Hope this helps.
No matter what I change the fonts to, the style remains the same–helvetica. Where else do changes need to be made since this is not working?
Hey @jackdanielvo,
I tried to change the Body and Content font to Font 6 and the text logo is now the same as your screenshot above.
Hope that helps.
