Problems with WPML translate

I am using the Pro language switcher to create a translation of the home page but

1. I can never copy from the existing English page
2. Even as I clone the content, the language switcher doesn’t seem to recognize the existence of a translated page (switcher is embedded in the burger menu)
3. Since this is the homepage, I manually tweaked the URL but it tells me the translated page doesn’t exist. But I see the page under Page - (different language).

It’s been a while since I last used WPML. So it is likely I am missing something basic. Hope you can help and many thanks in advance.

Hey @sgchan,

If the page you’re editing is already in WPML’s Translation Management, please delete the page from WPML to use Pro’s translation method.

Also try WPML’s pretty permalink structure.

Lastly, please note that we only provide support for sites attached to your licenses. I couldn’t find the domain you posted. Please point us out to what license it’s registered in because otherwise, we can’t continue to provide support.
