Problem with header when scrolling in Safari

This was a problem before the beta development, but I thought I’d mention it here as I notice it’s still happening.
Occurs when using a static header and quickly scrolling back to the top of the page. Seems to be in Safari only. Doesn’t happen when the header is “stacked” and doesn’t happen in the backside (“cornerstone”) view, just on the front end…

Can confirm this issue! (in safari also)

Thanks @spedney! Is that a sticky bar? Or just the default stack header?

Default header.
Happens on custom headers too when using regular Pro but haven’t tested out headers yet in the beta version.

Ok thanks! Looks like this one has been around for a while so I’m going to add it to the general bug tracker and treat it like issues coming in unrelated to the beta. We’ll definitely get it fixed, but it won’t be in the Pro 4.0.0 release.

I’ve been having this in Safari too, on a Pro sticky header. Definitely look forward to the fix whenever that arrives

@devinelston, I’ve got a list of sticky bar edge cases (many Safari related). Somewhere between 4.1 - 5.0 we’ll be rewriting the sticky bars javascript rather than trying to fix them one at a time. It will support the same features/controls but will be easier to approach by writing a new and better state management system that solve all the edge cases.
