Problem with header for blog

Hello!

We’re having trouble assigning a header for just the blog section of our Pro Site. We created a new header (with a color background) that we want to use only for the archive page and the single posts pages.

We assigned the new header to the blog, but for some reason, it’s not showing up… the blog archive and pages still show the former header.

The new header is called: Burio-BLOG

Can you please help? Thanks!

Hi @Jacko_Pinto,

Thanks for reaching out.

The reason why the header with red background is not showing on the blog page because of the priorities. When setting the Burio-BLOG priority to 0 and BurioEspanol 1 it is now showing the correct header on the blog page.

Please check this article for more information.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Thank you very much Marc_a.

Sorry, now I can’t seem to be able to add that same blog header to individual blog post… can you please help?

Also, how do I format the way inside blog page look? (Image size, font size, etc…)? Thanks again!

Hello @Jacko_Pinto,

To set the header for the post details page, go to the Header–>select your custom header —>Assinment—>Edit–>select Post Type—>Post

For post formating, It seems that you are using Gutenberg WordPress default page builder for the posts so there is no option to add font-size. You will have to add custom CSS code for the styling. For that, you need to learn CSS and learn how to use the browser’s element inspector.

Please note that we don’t provide custom code support. It is out of the support scope.

Thanks for understanding

I understand. How do I switch from Gutenberg to Xtheme’s functionality for blog pages? I mean for single posts.Like making the feature image smaller and separating it from the header…

Hello @Jacko_Pinto,

In case if you want to add the content of the blog page through the page builder you need go to X/Pro–>Settings —>General —>Enable Posts. It would allow you to edit the posts.

To separate the header of the single post details, you need to follow the process that I have given in the above response.

Hope it helps
Thanks

Thank you very much. I enabled that, but I still don’t see how to style my main blog page and individual blog pages… I mean, change featured image size, etc…

For example, on my main blog page, the featured images are way at the top… I want to add some space between them and the top bar.

Can you please help?

Hello @Jacko_Pinto,

To add some space, please edit your header and set the bar height to auto.

See the secure note below.

Best Regards.

Thank you very much Ruenel.

Which page do I open to access those settings? I’m afraid I’m confussed… they’re not on the blog page.

Thanks for all the help!

Hi @Jacko_Pinto,

You need to access your custom header in the Header Builder, then you can now see those settings mentioned by my colleague.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Thank you. I changed that to “Auto”, but the blog images are still too close to the header and the title and other info are still not visible. Can you please help?

Hey @Jacko_Pinto,

Your Bar’s Initial Position is Absolute. It should be Relative for your Blog and Single Posts.

Hope that helps.
