Pro theme internal server error

Hello,

Whenever I try and access the Pro theme editor I get a 500 Internal Server Error. I have looked through similar issues on here and increased all php memory limit as suggested in other posts, but am still getting the server error. Any ideas how I can fix this?

There could be a plugin or custom code that affects your website that lead you to 500 Internal Server Error.

I recommend the following troubleshooting procedures before we investigate the settings.

  1. TESTING FOR THEME RELATED ISSUE
  2. TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT
  3. THEME UPDATE
  4. CHILD THEME
  5. CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION
  6. VERSION COMPATIBILITY

Only if none of that helps, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

However I was able to fix the issue I was having, there was a change that had been made to the htaccess file which was causing the problem.
