Pro Theme Editor Keeps Hanging

Hi there.

We are running the latest version of Theme.co’s Pro theme. We are writing to let you know that when using the editor on the front-end (Cornerstone - although you can’t see that because in PRO is integrated invisibly) and attempting to edit text elements - in this case manually changing the ahrefs the browser hangs and then times-out. I have tested this on both Chrome and Firefox and the same things happens. I’ve included a video in the private chat that shows it happening.

There could be a plugin or custom code that affect your website.

I recommend the following troubleshooting procedures before we investigate the settings.

  2. TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT
  3. THEME UPDATE
  4. CHILD THEME
  5. CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION
  6. VERSION COMPATIBILITY

Only if none of that helps, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
