Pro Theme and WPML Automatic Translation

Hi,
Since translating a page in Pro Theme requires a specific translation process (clicking the language icon in the Cornerstone builder), can you please confirm that WPML Automatic Translation won’t work? https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/

I checked the forum but most answers are 5-6 years old. I want to know if any progress has made since then and if WPML Automatic Translation is now an option for Pro Theme users.

Thanks for chiming in. The question was regarding the Automatic Translation feature of WPML. By the looks of it, it seems it isn’t possible when using Cornerstone to create the pages.

However, I found this piece of information on the page you shared:
" in Cornerstone 7.5 we are introducing a way to integrate with the WordPress translation system to offer a way to translate content that could be used by any translation plugin."

We’ll have to see if that will work with WPML Automatic Translation then.

Hey Catalin,

The WPML Automatic Translation will only work for Classic Elements. If you use v2 or non-Classic Elements, you will need to follow the translation procedure shared by my colleage https://theme.co/docs/wpml.
