Pro Theme and MEC Modern Events Calendar Layout

Hi,
is there a way to build a layout of the MEC single page with Pro and Cornerstone?
As discussed formerly here:

PS: It would ne nice to build a copy of the MEC single page in the pro-child theme. But the instructions given here don’t work for me:

No matter what I change in the file, it doesn’t appear on the frontend.

PPS: A possibility to customize the MEC single page seems to be the usage of the MEC Single sidebar and the widget “MEC Single sidebar items”.
But this doesn’t work either.
The given items do not dependable show up.

Unfortunately, there is no such option to override the MEC single page layout using the Pro.

And can an MEC archive be built with Cornerstone?

That is also not possible at this moment. I will add this as a feature request list so our development team will take it into the consideration in future.
