PRO + THE GRID / EG Issue

Hi there,

I have a page here that uses the latest PRO and THE GRID plugin.

In the admin, the GRID plugin shows up fine. However, on the front-end, if you hover below the references section, you see that it’s there, however it is not loading correctly. Any idea why this can be the case?

Hello @Pbalazs89,

Thanks for writing in!

Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

  • Pro theme 4.2.3
  • WordPress 5.7
  • PHP 7.4
  • The Grid 2.7.9.1

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog:

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

It could also be caused by a plugin conflict, amongst other things. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

Testing for Plugin Conflict
Theme Update
CSS/JS Customization
Disabling Cache
Disabling CDN

Please let us know how it goes.

Hi there,

Updated all plugins, except the GRID from 2.7.9.1 to 2.7.9.1 because the update is not marked as available.

Tried testing for a plugin conflict as well, did not fix the issue.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Hi @Pbalazs89,

There could be a conflict with your other plugins and the classic grid element that’s why it is not working properly. There’s a workaround to fix the issue, in your The Grid plugin copy the shortcode and they paste it in the Raw Content element inside the page. As you can see on this page https://www.sportfloor.hu/iskolai-felhasznalas/iskolai-sportburkolatok/belteri-sportburkolatok/sport-pvc/ it is now working properly.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.
