Pro mobile menu—submenu does not expand so cannot access submenu topics

Hello. I am using Pro 4.3.3 for the site sp-40.thumbprintbooks.ca. I have two submenus with subindicators. However, on a mobile phone when I try to click the subindicator, the menu does not expand and it goes to the first item in the submenu. In searching the forum, it seems there are other problems with mobile menu. Has this problem been resolved? If so, what do I need to do? If not, what alternatives are there? Do I have to use the third-party extension? I need to get this resolved before this site goes live.

Thank you for writing in, yes that is actually on tablet devices. What you can do with that is made the parent menu a placeholder only (no link), and have all the links on the sub-menu, I see you already did this, and leave the link on the parent menu, that works too.

I’m confused about your reply. It seems that you agree that the problem exists on mobile devices. And it seems that you say I have done the setup correctly. However, the problem still exists—I cannot expand the submenu to click on submenu topics! What else can I do? Please provide specific steps.

Hello Larry,

It seems that the sub-menus sub-indicator area is very small so your finger needs to accurately land on that very small tap area. I have tested increasing the sub-indicator size and I could now open successfully. Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

After setting the width & height I tested it on my phone it works fine at my end. Please have a look at the screenshot in the secure note.

Alternatively, you can use the Mega Menu for small devices. Please have a look at the doc to learn more about how to creates a Mega menu. You may check out our video tutorial for the Megamenu as well.
