I know that there is a classical header element that inherits the size, margins, etc. from the stack, but this isn’t available in the header. Also, I miss the other options on it. But I can’t wrap my head around why h1, p, etc. force custom settings with each element? Am I thinking wrong or what do I miss?
Hi Bernd,
Thank you for writing in, you can save your styled element as a preset so you can use that preset over-over and again.
Save element styling as preset
These presets will show on the Elements list under the Preset tab that you can use on your pages.
More details about Template Manager here
Hope it helps,
Cheers!
Hey, thanks for the reply. Will all elements basend on the present change with updates on the present itself? But i truly whished that there would be an “inherit” option or empty settings. Getting a fluid font size with vertical rythm is hard enough. Overwriting forced styles from a “pro” page-builder makes it unessecary harder.
Hello Bernd,
The V2 elements are designed to have an independent styling since there are many custom options available in each element. The only way to apply common styles for the V2 elements for now is to use the preset option. As for now, there is also no option to update the styling of the master preset you are using.
For the meantime, I have added this as a Feature Request so that it will be considered in future development. Please note that we cannot provide an ETA or confirm that that feature will be added since this is something discussed internally and it depends on the volume of request a feature gets.
Thank you.
