Pro Headers vs Classic Headers

Hello! There doesn’t seem to be any clear documentation on this but is there a way to have the Pro headers default to a standard style? They seem to reset to basic text and only pull from the baked in Stack styles. The classic headers resect the settings of the theme but the Pro seem to require manual styling every time. Is there a template saving system I’m missing?

Thanks! <3

Hi there,

The classic headers are activated in Pro if you do not assign a header built with header builder in a page. The assignment is done in Pro > Launch > Headers screen. So if a page does not have a header assigned to it which has been built using the header builder, it will use the legacy classic header which is pulled from the CSS and PHP files of the stack you have chosen from Pro > Launch > Theme Options. Also, whatever header related options you see there will work.

If you need a customization for the classic header you either have the header options in the Pro > Launch > Theme Options or you can use Custom CSS code.

Now regarding the templating. A templating system is under development for Pro Headers (Not Classical Ones) which you will be using to add a header in a template and reuse it in different page headers. The next major release will have that functionality available.

Thank you.

Ahh crap, I meant HeadLINE, not HeadERS. My bad. Hope that makes my post make more sense!

Hi There,

At this moment of the product, this is not possible. We are working on a template manager which will solve this and bring much more possibilities.

At the moment if you want to have the settings which you selected on Theme Options you will need to stick to the Classic Custom headline.

If you want to have more information in depth about X or PRO typography system, please refer to this thread : https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/body-font-in-pro/13261/12?u=kory

Hope it helps
