Pro Header broke after installing Polylang - won't show up although assigned through conditions

Hey guys!

Something weird happened just now. I had a site fully set up (www.casafederi.co) in english and decided to add Polylang for translation. In the past I had worked with Polylang various times and never had an issue.

I was using the header builder to style my navigation (graphics only) and everything worked fine. As soon as I added multi language support, the navigation seems to be broken. The bottom bar doesn’t show up, the navigation is all out of whack. Could somebody check whats going on?

Hello @umbertofederico,

Thanks for writing to us.

It might be there is a conflict between the header assignments and the Polylang plugin. This has already been added to our issue tracker and will be looked into by our development team. I cannot make any promises relating to a fix at this stage. I will add a note to the tracker referencing your report though so our dev team can see there are multiple reports of the issue.

If you want an alternative translation plugin, the WPML is highly recommended.

Thanks for understanding

hey there  so theoretically if I deactivate the plugin it should work again?

Hello @umbertofederico,

Simply deactivating Polylang won’t help. To apply the custom Header, you need to follow the steps below:

  1. Deactivate PolyLang
  2. Delete Header Assignment and Save
  3. Add Header assignment back and save

Hope it helps
Thanks

Yeah it did, thank you. Is Polylang integration planned anytime soon? it’s such a great plugin and I haven’t worked with WPML

Hi @umbertofederico,

The Polylang plugin works well with the Theme, but it has some conflicting issues with the Header assignment. The problem has been already added to our Issue Tracker for further investigation by our development team.

Thanks
