Pro Beta 6.0 rc1 - Preview Scrollbar Not Available

Hi,

I have an issue which is difficult to explain exactly when and how it happens, but have had it on multiple sites.

Sometimes when a change is made, possibly by navigating in Cornerstone to Global Options or Font Manager and then back to the tab which is open, the preview scrollbar disappears and it is not possible to scroll down the page without refreshing the browser.

In this screenshot I am rebuilding a website created in 2017, hence the Classic Row showing. All core and plugins are fully up-to-date.

Thanks,
Christopher

Extra info… On the same site, every time I add an image element to a grid or column, the scroll bar is unavailable until I refresh the browser.

I’ll try to recreate today. Do you have a staging access for this issue in case I can’t recreate?

Thanks @charlie,

I am getting another weird problem. Regularly when I duplicate a section on a page and move it into place the whole interface freezes and I am unable to save the changes or navigate to anywhere else.

I need the HTTP auth as well, I think that’s just the wp login. Thanks

Sorry for the dealy. In secure note.

Thanks what page were you on? What browser are you using?

@whitemedia, we logged into your website and went to the page you mentioned and both tested the steps you provided in multiple browsers and were not able to recreate the issue. Navigating to Global Options and back or adding Image Elements to Columns or Cells does not cause scrolling to disable. I’m still able to move up and down the page and work on it like normal.

Curious, what OS are you on? Mac? Windows? What browser do you typically use? Just trying to see if we might be able to replicate this more closely, but as of right now everything appears to be working normally for us.

@kory, I am on Windows 11 and Chrome - all fully updated. Strangely, after a few days away from the website I can no longer replicate the behaviours I was seeing, which is good news. I wonder if something local had caused the issue but has reset itself in the meanwhile? Thanks for looking though!

@whitemedia, I’ve had situations like that in the past on my machine…either some type of browser update happening that released a breaking change or an OS thing that got updated after a couple of days. Let’s tentatively count this as resolved for now, but we will certainly keep any eye out for it. Thanks!
