Pro 6 RC1 - site background image not displaying

There is a site background image set in the Pro Theme settings. It is not being displayed when running the Pro 6 RC1. Site was running 5.1.5 and updated to Pro 6 RC1. Caches emptied, BG image can be seen in the theme options in the Admin, but not being added to the dom when viewing/inspecting the page on the frontend.
