And the line height on those labels is quite high. Wouldn’t it look better with the labels on a single line?
I think overall the previous design with the 3 cards was nicer, although the new images that represent the actions are better than the icons of the previous design.

I agree.
Maybe this is still work in progress. Functionally it is better, but design-wise it is kind of a step backwards. 
I’d love to have it a bit closer to the old style.
Perhaps I would just lose the box-shadow, to make it more modern looking:
The new icons are fine and more in-line with the overall Cornerstone feel, but they could get some design love as well.
I’ll fix some of the spacing issues and that border issue in beta3.
