Pro 6.6.1 - issues with colours

I’m having issue with opacity.

The site is a brand new site running Pro 6.6.1. I also set the site up to use HTML Storage. I did also clear the system cache. I also tried switching back to Shortcodes but the issue remained so I presume it doesn’t have anything to do with HTML Storage.

I the builder when I set a colour with opacity everything looks fine however on the front-end there is no colour.

In the inspector it says the colour is invalid.

In the builder it shows the colour as an RGBA value - rgba(207, 201, 197, 0.82)

On the front-end it is converting it to the below.

Is there perhaps a requirement for the names and ids of the colours.

In this site I changed the ids to reflect the names so they were easier to use across the site and I think it was my ID’s that broke the colours.

Perhaps there needs to be some validation regarding what you can use as an id.

What did you use as an ID for your color? Have a great day.

pl-dark-grey as an example.

That ID wasn’t an issue for me. Did this occur because you changed IDs that were already being used?

This is a brand new site. I set up the colors and changed the ID’s as soon as I created the colors. The color worked fine in the Cornerstone just not in the browser.

I did not use the ID’s at all however when I used the color on any element and added opacity the colors did not work and in the browser inspector it showed the color as invalid. As soon as I created the color again without changing the ID then the opacity worked fine.

What is a bit odd is that it seems to be working OK now although at the time I tested it several times and was able to repeat the issue multiple times. My original colors that I didn’t change are also still not working.

I can give you access if it will help but as the newer colours seem to work perhaps we must leave it be.
