Pro 6.00 Beta 4 - Template Not Importing

Hi,

I have beta 4 installed on two separate websites. On site 1 I have a former Global Block which is now a Component. The contents of the Component are a Gridorama Brick Grid (Gallery). I have saved the Component as a template and then exported it as a .tco file.

On website 2 I have gone into Manage Library of the template area. Two issues were found:

1. There is no button or feature to import a template.

2. I dragged the .tco template file from the Chrome download bar at the bottom of the screen and also from File Explorer into the Template Library. The expected import overlay, we are used to, appeared and the file started the import process. However, very quickly I got the “Uh oh! This file you chose was not valid and could not be imported” message (see screenshot).

Is this a known error?

Howdy, @whitemedia! Thanks for writing in. I have gone ahead and worked on getting back in an “import” button in the Template Manager modal next to the search when you open it up. We need to wire it back up, but the physical placement and styling is more or less worked out.

As for the .tco file failing on import, I have tested this and it seems to be happening on Component files (regular sections, pages, et cetera are seeming to work fine). We likely just need to add in a type scope for this and it should be good to go. I have noted it down and we are looking into it.
