Pro 4.2 - loading of builders

I’ve mentioned this before but I am still finding that the builders don’t always load. This happens often enough that it is annoying. If I then refresh the page the relevant builder will load.

  • I will choose to edit a page in the content builder and the header and footer will load but the page won’t load.
  • I will choose to edit a header in the header builder and the page and footer will load but the header won’t load.
  • I will choose to edit a footer in the footer builder and the page and header will load but the footer won’t load.

I’m using Firefox on Windows 10. The PC is a little older but it is an i7 with 16gigs of RAM and a Samsung Evo Pro SSD.

This happens on both my local development servers. One is running Ubuntu Server 20.04 with MySQL8 and one is running Ubuntu Server 18.04 with MySQL5.7. Both are running PHP7.4-fpm on Apache.

This is also happening on my test server which is running Litespeed Server with Maria DB.

As such I don’t think it is related to the location of the install.

Same here. Lately the preview area loads blank way more often. Just yesterday I imported a header template from Design Cloud and when I applied it to a new header the preview area loaded blank, requiring a page refresh to get it to show.

Same thing here but using MacOS Big Sur (11.2.2) with Safari (14.0.3) as well as in Firefox (86)

Thanks everyone! I’ve not confirmed/reproduced this yet but I think I might have an idea of what might be going on.
