I am finding the fairly often when I open a content page to edit it that the header and footer load but the content doesn’t load. I need to refresh the page and then it loads the second time.
Same here.
Let me know if this is still happening with the latest update. I suspect it should be ok in 4.1.2, but we’re also going to push 4.1.3 here shortly.
Today I had this problem in the Header builder. Had to refresh the header builder for the header to load in the preview. Running v4.1.3.
I’m still having this problem. 4.1.5 with a fresh install on a new build.
It happens fairly often. Usually for me it is the content. The page will load and I can see the header / footer, I can also see all my elements in the outline BUT the page preview never loads. Once, I waited a while (think minutes), then the page preview eventually loaded.
I’m on Windows 10 with Firefox.
Hi @urchindesign,
Would it be possible to login to a site where this is happening? It’d be great to take a look first hand. Thanks!
I’ll give you a login.
Just to summarize at the moment there are a few things::
- From time to time the previews don’t display
- From time to time the builder becomes unresponsive
- I had the occasional issue where the page seems to lose its styling, it looks fine in the preview but in the front-end it looks like a page after you duplicate it before you go into the builder and save it. (i.e. when using Yoast Duplicate you need to go into the page in the build and save it before the front-end looks ok.)
- To follow on from point 3. Yoast Duplicate Post no longer seems to work. Pages I duplicate look fine in the preview but are broken in the front-end. (It does seem that if I make a change and then save then the front-end starts working. If I just save the front-end stays broken.)
Unfortunately at the moment point 4 is the only one I can consistently repeat. The rest seem fairly random, they happen often enough to be annoying but not often enough to pinpoint any particular reason.
I’m using the latest version of Firefox on Windows.
Thank you! I’ve not had a change to look into this yet, but I can confirm receipt of the above.
